ABOUT ME

Inspired by my grandfather, who has been passionately making films and still continues to do so at over 90 years old, I discovered my own fascination for storytelling and visual design early on. This passion led me to focus on media design in school and later study Media Technology at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten. Ever since, I have been fascinated by the power of film to captivate and to remind us that stories are most powerful when they are shared.

JUNGE VISIONEN - NEUE PERSPEKTIVEN

IMAGEFILM

For this project, I took on the role of editorial lead, overseeing the concept, structure, and storytelling of the film. In addition, I assisted on set with camera work.

POSITION: EDITORIAL LEAD

Combining tradition with innovation, a 20-year-old chef is bringing fresh ideas to a restaurant that reimagines Austrian cuisine with international influences, a focus on high-quality ingredients, and sustainable enjoyment. Our image film captures his craft, vision, and passion, offering authentic interviews, behind-the-scenes kitchen moments, and atmospheric shots of the modern yet cozy restaurant. By telling his story firsthand, the film showcases how youthful creativity can honor culinary heritage while paving the way for fresh ideas, inspiring guests and highlighting the importance of quality in gastronomy.

PHOTOGRAPHY

This series focuses on everyday scenes, reduced to light, color, and form. The images highlight small details and atmospheres that might otherwise be overlooked. It is a straightforward exploration of how photography can shift perspective on the ordinary.

SOLO PROJECT

IMAGEfilm zillenbauer “WITTI”

In this film we are working on presenting skilled trades in a fresh and accessible light. We take a closer look at the unique craft of traditional boat building, the art of creating “Zillen”, wooden boats that have been part of cultural heritage for generations. With real craftsmanship and tradition at its heart, the film highlights the passion and precision behind this profession. The project is currently in post-production.

Challenge St. Pölten

LIVEPRODUCTION, BTS

POSITION: CAMERA OP, POST-PRODUCTION (BTS), 1. AC (BTS)

As part of an elective course, we coordinated the live production of the Challenge St. Pölten triathlon and produced a behind-the-scenes video with interviews that give insights into the event and its participants.
Over three days, we took part in all stages of the production: setting up and delivering equipment, preparing camera positions and the commentary booth, running tests, and coordinating with the organizers. On race day, we operated cameras, directed the live feed, and kept communication running between all teams. After the event, we dismantled the setup and started editing the behind-the-scenes footage.

This comprehensive involvement allowed us to experience the full spectrum of live event production, from logistical planning to creative storytelling.

The sturgeon is among the most endangered species worldwide. In the Danube, its survival is critically threatened by poaching and the destruction of its migratory routes. The Lifeboat4sturgeons project is committed to protecting these fish and reintroducing them into their natural habitat.

Whether it’s tension, joy, or fear - sound plays a decisive role in how we experience a film. But how can music and sound design be used deliberately to support the narrative and evoke an emotional response?

Musik im Film

“Musik im Film” and “Lifeboat4Sturgeons” are ENG-Productions we created as part of our studies at the University of Applied Sciences.
